Katerina

mygrantour-Katerina-roma I was born in Tirana and lived there since 1997, when my family and I decided to move to Italy : my husband and my two daughters of 19 and 14 years old. I define our migration as a ‘family migration project’. We decided to emigrate from Albania with the aim of giving our daughters the opportunity to study in a more developed country, which would have been impossible in our country. I attended various continuing education courses for intercultural mediation and I earned a Second Degree Master in ‘Immigrants and refugees-Education, Communication and social integration’, at ‘La Sapienza University of Rome. I participated in a training programme organised by the MIUR (interculture in the schools) and collaborated in many emigration and interculture projects.
