TALES FROM THE WORLD-CITY will be held in Naples on June 16, 2017: a journey inside places, streets and stories led by citizens of foreign origin. A multi-voice dialogue to recount urban transformations and re-know our cities through the eyes of those who come from afar and now live here. ALL THE FACES OF EXCHANGE is the common thread of the second edition and the two scheduled events: all the faces that the encounter between people of different backgrounds and cultures takes on, from yesterday’s and today’s forms of slavery to welcoming, from trade in new products to cultural exchange, in an interweaving of present and past, history and memories.
Tales from the World-City is promoted by Casba Società Cooperativa Sociale, as part of Migrantour Naples, under the patronage of the City of Naples, in collaboration with Migrantour Intecultural Urban Routes and with the participation of ilCartastorie |museum of the historical archives of the Bank of Naples, Pio Monte della Misericordia, Less Impresa Sociale Onlus and Complesso museale di Santa Maria delle Anime del Purgatorio.
