My name is Tamara, I am Croatian, from Zagreb and I have lived in Paris for almost 7 years, even though it seems to me I have lived here for less time. I have indeed the impression I have lived here for 3 or 4 years. Probably the rhythm of Paris – a larger and more intense town than Zagreb – and the several experiences it offers every day, force you to live at an accelerated pace. I am in love both with Paris and with the French-speaking culture and if I could, I would really like to have the citizenship of both Paris and my hometown (or another town). Paris is like a beautiful femme fatale it is hard to get close to. My love for it is not decreasing, but only slightly blurred and I am aware of the fact that this town can sometimes be ruthless. I feel France is my second country with which I have had a link since my childhood, as I have initially lived here as a student and I have now lived here for years.
