Rita

My name is Rita, I was born in Romania and I lived in Piatra Neamt, a town of 100,000 inhabitants, which is also known as Perla Moldovei, the pearl of Moldova, due to its beauty and location. I have lived in Italy for 15 years. I consider myself a fighter, because I have never given up even when I had to overcome big hurdles. After responding to my basic needs, I have decided to turn to some personal achievements and I have attended some courses of cultural mediation, intercultural heritage mediation and training courses on second generations of migrants. Thanks to my expertise I have contributed to publishing the book titled “Patrimoni in Migrazione. Accessibilità, partecipazione, mediazione nei musei” (“Migrating heritage. Accessibility, involvement, mediation in museums”) and the book “Sentirsi a casa. Materiali per la progettazione in chiave interculturale di percorsi educativi nei musei archeologici” (“Feeling at home. Materials for intercultural design of educational pathways in archeological museums”).

I like to travel, discover, communicate, and I am passionate for the intercultural world. Thanks to my job as a cultural mediator and as the president of the “Insieme” (“Together”) intercultural association, I am always in touch with people of different cultures.
