My name is Mauricio and I am Colombian. I live in Valencia since 2007. I’m a biologist and my stay in the city has allowed me to expand my training in the fields of tropical medicine and development cooperation. I work as a leisure monitor and collaborate with various organizations as such as Orriols ConVive. It seems that being a Migrant Intercultural Guide is a contribution to the city which welcomes you and dignifies the people who are directly involved in showing the city through our perspective.
My desire in this project is to further deepen in the interculturality of the society, to get to know the rich heritage of the city, the experiences of other cities and consolidate a group of migrants’ guides.
