Eneida

Eneida

My name is Eneida, I have Venezuelan origins and I have lived in Italy since 1981, where I have fallen in love with a Genoese man! Genoa has welcomed me very well. This town, so different from my origins, has gradually entered my heart and I have learnt to know it and appreciate it so much that I started to feel at home. I also lived in Paris 16 years, in the meantime, where I started dealing with multicultural integration. When I came back to Genoa, I found a lively town, which had changed a lot and was far more multiethnic and my passion for multiculturalism has increased. This is why my family and I have started going to the historic district for walks. The opportunity of being an intercultural companion is really exciting, as it allows me knowing our cultures, our perfumes and aromas as an important resource, because knowledge means tolerance and integration.
As an intercultural companion, I collaborate proposing an intercultural tour of Genoa promoting sustainable and responsible tourism.
